Al Nassr aren’t content after snagging Ronaldo and have set their sights on Eden Hazard who they hope boss Rudi Garcia can help recruit with his close links to the Real Madrid winger
Al Nassr are reportedly planning to use boss Rudi Garcia’s links to Eden Hazard to bring him to the club after signing Cristiano Ronaldo.
Garcia spent four years working with Hazard at French club Lille before the winger moved to Chelsea in 2012. And now Al Nassr want Garcia to lure Hazard to Saudi Arabia from Real Madrid.
Hazard has fallen to the wayside at Real where he’s only featured in 73 games and scored seven goals in the three years since joining the La Liga Champions in 2019. He’s also retired from international football after Belgium’s ‘golden generation’ were knocked out of the Qatar World Cup.
But Al Nassr still see value in Hazard and want him to link up with Ronaldo to shore up their attack next summer, according to Foot Mercato. If they’re able to convince him to do so, he’ll also play alongside former Ligue 1 stars, Alvaro Gonzalez and Luiz Gustavo, who played for Marseille.

And matching Hazard’s reported £416,000 weekly wages won’t be a problem for the uber-wealthy Arabian side considering the £173 million annual pay packet they’ve given Ronaldo. Ronaldo joined the club last week for the exorbitant sum following his controversial exit from Manchester United.

However, he won’t make his debut yet as he still has to serve the two-match ban handed to him by the English FA. But the fitness freak was spotted topless on a training bike watching his new side beat Al Tae’e 2-0 on Friday.
And along with Hazard, Ronaldo may be joined by Chelsea stalwart N’Golo Kante in the Middle East, the report added. The ambitious Al Nassr have also got the French midfielder high on their list of targets as they look to assert dominance in the region.
