Cristiano Ronaldo Jr. is the eldest of five children of Portuguese soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo. Ronaldo Jr. was born in San Diego, USA, in June 2010. He was the only child of Ronaldo for seven years before the births of twins, Eva and Mateo in June 2017.
Ronaldo Jr. has been said to have a mysterious girlfriend who no one knows about. A picture of the two has been doing rounds on the internet but it has not been confirmed that the girl in the picture is his girlfriend.
However, it has been debated if he is allowed to have a girlfriend at the age of 12 as Ronaldo has been seen to be a very involved parent. He has taken a keen and important interest in the upbringing of his first son. A son whose mother is unknown to date.
The former Manchester United player told Jonathan Ross: “People speculate I was with this girl or another, or there was a surrogate mother. I have never told anyone and never will.”
“When Cristiano [Junior] is going to grow up, I am always going to say the truth to him because he deserves it because he is my son. But I am not going to say [it just] because people want me to say.”
Ronaldo added that even if Ronaldo Jr. grew up without a mother, he did not believe it would be an issue.
Not even Georgina Rodriguez knows the identity of Cristiano Ronaldo Jr.’s girlfriend
Georgina Rodriguez, Cristiano Ronaldo’s girlfriend, has been involved with the soccer star’s children as well. She has been seen attending matches and supporting her husband with all his children and family.
The Ronaldo household has five children. 12-year-old Ronaldo Jr., and 5-year-old twins Eva and Mateo from a surrogate mother. Rodriguez gave birth to daughter Alana Martina in November 2017. In April 2022, Georgina gave birth to twins but one of the children passed away shortly after birth.
Georgina and Cristiano are equally responsible parents for Cristiano’s children. So, it would be natural to think that she would know if Ronaldo Jr. has a girlfriend. However, her only comments on the matter do not reveal much.
A Netflix documentary, called “I am Georgina” was released in January 2022. There was a segment in the documentary where Rodriguez talked about Ronaldo Jr. having a girlfriend.
“I think it’s funny that Junior [Cristiano Jr] has a girlfriend. I already told him that I have to meet her and give him my approval, even if I’m not a very authoritarian mother,” she said.
It might just be that Rodriguez herself does not know much about this mystery girl in Ronaldo Jr.’s life. The 12-year-old played for the Manchester United academy when his father was donning the Red Devils’ jersey. However, the 5x Ballon d’Or winner’s contract is terminated. We would have to wait and see where he heads next with his dad.
